Bidding for Contributions
Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and North America Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (NACOTA) will jointly hold the 9th International Conference of Chinese Transportation Professionals (ICCTP 2009) from August 5th to August 9th, 2009, in Harbin. The conference will discuss a broad range of issues related to transportation in China and focus on challenging problems emerging in transportation research and practice. Additionally, the conference will also showcase international experiences and success stories of transportation research and development. HIT and NACOTA sincerely invite transportation professionals interested in tran-sportation issues of China to attend and contribute to this conference by submitting papers, making presentations, and participating in discussions.

Publication Process
The proceedings articles will be published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Working Language of the conference are English and Chinese. However, abstracts and papers must be written in English. A number of excellent papers will be recommended to the fallowing journals:
1. ASCE Journal of Transportation Engineering
2. Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems
3. ITE Journal

The Statement of ASCE
The Transportation and Development Institute (T&DI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will be publishing the proceedings of the 9th International Conference of Chinese Transportation Professionals (ICCTP) being held in Harbin, PRC.
Following the conference the papers from the proceedings will be published in the ASCE Research Library (http://www.ascelibrary.org). In the ASCE Research Library abstracts are viewable at no charge and full papers are available for purchase. The library currently contains over 20,000 articles and more than 195,000 pages.
As an additional benefit to authors, ASCE will provide an upload of the abstracts to the publishers of Engineering Index (EI). Please note: ASCE does not own EI and cannot guarantee that abstracts of conference papers will be listed in EI, nor can ASCE guarantee the speed in which they are posted if accepted by EI. |
